Wallingford Place Homes
Tucked away in the Palmetto Pointe section of Myrtle Beach, in an award winning school district is a charming little community by the name of Wallingford Place. Wallingford Place was first developed approximately 15 years ago and features cute single family homes, most of which are less than 1500 square feet in size. Wallingford Place is comprised of one road entering the community and one road that loops through the community, making this community less congested than many others. Afternoon walks and bike rides are much more enjoyable in a small community like Wallingford Place. Also, because the homes are on the smaller side, Wallingford Place is a more affordable option for first time home buyers. These mostly three bedroom homes have recently been selling for prices in the low to high 100’s, and with a monthly HOA fee around $60, these prices make this community one of the most affordable in this section of the Grand Strand. Wallingford Place is also very conveniently located. Highway 17 Bypass is the main road that is nearest to this community and from Highway 17 Bypass you can travel the full length of the Grand Strand. Also, there is a new access road at the back section of Palmetto Pointe that empties out on Highway 707 near Big Block Road, offering another way to escape the tourist traffic. Take a little time to look through the pictures and comments of any homes currently listed in Wallingford Place and also look at Stonebridge and St. Charles Place as well.
